Apple’s Eddy Cue is no longer in charge of Siri

Apple’s Eddy Cue is no longer in charge of Siri, according to Apple’s updated leadership page. First spotted by Apple Insider, the voice assistant is now under the purview of Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior vice president of software engineering.

Cue, who runs internet software and services for Apple, has been in charge of all of Apple’s online services, including Maps, Music, iTunes, iCloud, and Siri for years. But with the hiring of Sony’s top two TV executives to run Apple’s original video content — who report to Cue — and Federighi now running Siri, it seems like Cue will soon have a somewhat lighter workload.
